Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Calfit. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, a parent or guardian must agree to these Terms on your behalf.
Your account
- You are responsible for activity under your account, including keeping your sign-in credentials secure
- You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date
Acceptable use
You agree to:
- Use the app for personal, non-commercial fitness and wellness tracking
- Not reverse engineer, decompile, scrape, or attempt to derive source code from the service
- Not interfere with the service, attempt to gain unauthorized access, or abuse rate limits
- Not upload content that is illegal, infringing, or harmful
Health disclaimer
Calfit provides general guidance, calorie/macro estimates, and habit nudges. It is not medical advice and is not a substitute for professional diagnosis, treatment, or supervision. Consult a qualified clinician before making changes to your diet, fasting routine, or exercise program — especially if you are pregnant, nursing, have a medical condition, or take medication.
Subscriptions (Calfit+)
- Calfit+ unlocks premium features (unlimited AI scans, deeper insights, additional Pip moods, etc.)
- Subscriptions are billed by the Apple App Store or Google Play and auto-renew at the end of each period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before renewal
- Manage or cancel in your store account: iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions, or Google Play → Subscriptions
- Free trials, where offered, convert to paid unless you cancel before the trial ends
- Refunds, where applicable, are handled by the App Store or Play Store under their respective terms
Content and intellectual property
- Calfit and its design, code, mascot, and graphics are owned by us or our licensors
- You retain ownership of content you create (meal photos, notes, weigh-ins). You grant us a limited license to process that content solely to operate the app for you
Termination
- You can stop using Calfit at any time and delete your account from Settings
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that pose risk to the service or other users
Third-party nutrition data
Calfit's food search, barcode lookup, and recipe data are powered by the FatSecret Platform API. By using Calfit, you also agree to be bound by the FatSecret Platform API Terms of Use, available at platform.fatsecret.com/terms. FatSecret content is the property of FatSecret and its licensors and is provided to you under their terms.
Disclaimer and liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for outcomes resulting from following any in-app suggestion.
Changes
We may update these Terms over time. If a change is material, we will notify you in-app before it takes effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of your country of residence to the extent required by applicable law; otherwise by the laws of the jurisdiction where Calfit is operated.
